TradePort by Chikwo Intellit · Formerly RetailFlow
Control every branch, warehouse, stock carton, and naira.
Built for Nigerian wholesalers, importers, distributors, supermarket and pharmacy chains, and growing companies. TradePort handles carton and piece billing, checkout (point of sale, or POS), stock records that cannot be edited after the fact, two-phase transfers between branches, customer credit limits, and profit and loss reports. It keeps working offline.
Free tier available with no credit card required. A terminal is a computer running TradePort at a counter. Install and trade offline immediately.
Existing business sign in.
Permanent stock and money records. Every unit sold, transferred, consumed in production, or adjusted leaves a permanent record. Cashiers cannot see cost prices or delete completed sales.
Not the bank card machine
In Nigeria, “POS” often means the handheld card machine from a bank or an agent. TradePort is different. It is checkout and billing software that runs on your computer. It scans barcodes, prints receipts, keeps stock records, enforces customer credit limits and balances the cashier’s drawer. At payment you record whether the customer paid by cash, bank transfer or card machine.
Complete commercial operations
Whatever name you call it, TradePort delivers in one place.
Instead of running five disconnected programs or wrestling with error-prone notebooks, TradePort unifies every department of your enterprise.
1. Wholesale and bulk distribution system
Sell in up to three bulk units (carton, pack, dozen) alongside single base units with automated base-unit deduction. Assign buyers to standard, wholesale, or VIP distributor tiers, and issue formal A4 commercial invoices, proforma quotations, and waybills.
2. Checkout and customer display
Billing and counter checkout software. Scans barcodes, prints 80mm receipts, reconciles cash drawers, accepts split payments, and pairs with a customer-facing second screen showing bank transfer account details in bold font.
3. Production, recipe and raw material tracker
Built for bakeries, beverage plants, restaurants, and hotels. Track raw material inventory separately from finished goods, build recipes with ingredient lists, monitor batch yields against wastage, and auto-deduct recipe ingredients upon checkout.
4. Warehouse, multi-branch and stock register
Your stock figure is calculated from a permanent record of every movement, never typed over, with missing stock tracking, two-phase branch transfers with in-transit valuation on the balance sheet, and blind stocktake sessions with count sheets.
5. Bookkeeping, profit and loss reports and balance sheet
Generates real-time profit and loss reports with snapshotted cost of goods sold, operating expense categories, and shrinkage loss impact to report true net profit. Displays an as-of-date corporate balance sheet plus customer segments by how recently and how often they buy.
Enterprise capabilities
Engineered to eliminate stock leakage and financial blind spots.
Built to survive Nigerian power outages, unstable network connections, and high-volume commercial environments. Every capability below is verified and ready for live production use.
01
Dual-tier wholesale and bulk pricing
Set up to 3 bulk selling tiers per product (carton, pack, dozen, roll, crate) alongside single pieces, with inventory deducting strictly in base units. Assign buyers to standard, wholesale, or VIP distributor tiers with automated tier pricing and floor guards.
02
Customer display
Connect a second monitor or pair a wireless tablet over local Wi-Fi using secure token pairing. Shows itemized cart live, and displays your store bank name, account number, and amount due in bold font for transfer checkout.
03
Split payments and multiple bank accounts
Accept split checkout across cash, bank transfer, and card terminal on the same sale. Cashiers select which store bank account received the transfer (such as Moniepoint, Zenith, or Access), eliminating end-of-day bank statement guesswork.
04
Cost saved on every sale line
At checkout, every sale line permanently records average purchase cost per unit. Even if supplier prices rise next month, historical gross profit margins remain 100% accurate.
05
Multi-cart parking and quick queues
Cashiers can open, rename, park, and switch between multiple simultaneous customer carts. Ring up a quick walk-in buyer with a single item while a wholesale customer is still finalizing a 50-carton order.
06
Production and recipes
Designed for bakeries, beverage factories, restaurants, and hotels. Build recipes with ingredient lists, track batch yields against raw-material wastage, compute finished-goods cost averaged from ingredient cost, and auto-deduct recipe ingredients upon checkout.
07
Stock records that cannot be edited
Your stock figure is calculated from a permanent record of every movement, never typed over. Adjustments, restocks, and sales are permanent records.
08
Two-phase branch transfers
Central depot dispatches stock, placing goods into in-transit valuation on the corporate balance sheet so delivery vehicles never vanish from your books. Receiving branches count and confirm delivery, so a double click never counts twice.
09
Structured stock counts
Generate count sheets hiding expected numbers so warehouse staff count actual physical items. Reconcile variances by item, value, and root cause before authorizing adjustments.
10
Missing stock register
Unexplained negative adjustments automatically book into the missing stock register categorized by theft, damage, record error, or natural loss. Unresolved losses deduct directly from net profit on your profit and loss reports.
11
Profit and loss reports and balance sheet
Select any date range to view gross sales revenue → cost of goods sold → gross profit → operating expenses (across categorized buckets) → shrinkage impact → real net profit, alongside a full corporate balance sheet.
12
Receipts and corporate documents
Print fast 80mm receipts with bulk unit badges and customer debt balances, alongside formal A4 commercial invoices, proforma quotations, and A4 warehouse waybills with gate pass signature blocks.
Enterprise architecture
Built for companies running multiple counters, warehouses, and branches.
TradePort is engineered for commercial operations that have outgrown single-counter cash registers and unlinked spreadsheets.

A4 Warehouse Waybills
Gate Pass blocks with dispatcher, driver, and receiver signatures.

Structured 4-step rollout
We do not leave you to figure it out alone. Every multi-branch deployment follows a proven deployment path:
1. Catalog and balance migration:
We import your existing products, wholesale carton conversions, and opening balances from your spreadsheet file.
2. Counter terminal pairing:
Install TradePort on your Windows counter machines. Pair each terminal to your store and branch using secure 12-character activation codes.
3. Staff role assignment:
Configure owner, admin, and cashier permissions so cashiers scan and bill while sensitive margins and audit ledgers remain protected.
4. Live trading with background sync:
Your staff trade offline without interruption. Transactions sync automatically every 20 seconds to your cloud Owner Portal.
Why companies trust TradePort
TradePort is not a cloud-dependent web page that freezes when your internet service provider experiences downtime. It is an industrial offline desktop system built on Encrypted database on your computer local storage.
Your business keeps selling during grid failures, fiber cuts, or market network congestion. When connectivity restores, your cloud ledger reconciles automatically.
Role separation and price sanity guards that protect your margins.
A growing business cannot afford cashiers knowing wholesale supplier margins or quietly discounting below cost price. TradePort enforces strict architectural guardrails across every counter.
Strict Owner, Admin, and Cashier role separation. Cashiers only view their own sales, cannot view supplier cost prices or profit margins, and cannot delete completed invoices. Only admins or owners can authorize stock write-offs.
Server-side price sanity rails. Cashiers cannot enter arbitrary discounts that erode your business. Custom prices are bounded between cost + 5% and base + 40%, preventing costly cashier mistakes or unauthorized sweetheart pricing.
One-time device activation codes. Generate 12-character (XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) branch-scoped activation codes from your Owner Portal. Remotely revoke, reassign, reactivate, or retire any terminal in one click.
Remote Owner Portal
Monitor every store, branch, and terminal live from any browser.
Organization hierarchy: Owner, Store, Branch, and Terminal structure.
Browser access: Review dashboards on phones, tablets, or laptops with zero terminal install needed.
Automatic sync: 20-second background sync keeping records current.
Local security: Encrypted database on your computer that trades offline.
Spreadsheet import: Import your product list from a spreadsheet file.
All subscriptions are billed securely in Nigerian Naira via Paystack. If a subscription renewal charge fails, your terminals receive a 2-day grace period and local offline trading is never locked out.
Frequently asked questions
Clear answers for business owners, accountants & operators.
Is TradePort the same as a bank card machine?
In Nigeria, “POS” often means the handheld card machine from a bank or an agent. TradePort is different. It is checkout and billing software that runs on your computer.
It scans barcodes, prints receipts, keeps stock records, enforces customer credit limits and balances the cashier’s drawer. At payment you record whether the customer paid by cash, bank transfer or card machine.
How does TradePort handle wholesale carton and piece sales?
TradePort features dual-tier unit selling. Each product carries a base unit (e.g., Piece, Kg, Litre) and up to three bulk selling tiers (e.g., Carton, Pack, Dozen) with defined conversion factors and specific selling prices.
Cashiers switch between Carton and Piece at checkout. Stock always deducts strictly in base units, so selling 1 carton of 12 pieces and selling 12 individual pieces drains from the exact same inventory balance.
What happens when internet drops or during a power outage?
TradePort is built offline-first. Your entire catalog and stock balance live locally on each counter computer inside an encrypted database on your computer.
Cashiers ring up wholesale orders, issue receipts, log expenses, and close shifts with zero internet. Once power and internet return, TradePort pushes and pulls changes to your cloud Owner Portal in the background every 20 seconds.
How does two-phase stock transfer protect goods in transit?
When your central depot dispatches goods to a branch, the stock leaves the depot balance and is booked into In-Transit Valuation on your corporate balance sheet. Goods on delivery trucks never vanish from your books.
The receiving branch counts the arrival and confirms full or partial receipt, or logs damages and shortfalls. System keys ensure that duplicate clicks never double-count stock.
How does TradePort account for missing stock and theft?
Your stock figure is calculated from a permanent record of every movement, never typed over.
Any unexplained negative stock adjustment is automatically booked into a dedicated missing stock register categorized under theft, damage, record error, or natural loss. Unresolved losses deduct directly from net profit on your profit and loss reports.
Can cashiers see my profit margins or delete invoices?
No. TradePort enforces strict role separation across Owner, Admin, and Cashier tiers. Cashiers can only view their own sales, cannot see supplier cost prices or profit margins, and cannot delete completed invoices.
Server-side price sanity rails also block cashiers from selling items below cost price or above maximum allowable thresholds.
Can staff use their smartphones as wireless barcode scanners?
Yes. Staff pair their Android or iPhone by scanning a pairing code over local shop Wi-Fi.
The phone camera turns into a wireless barcode scanner scanning items into the counter terminal over local Wi-Fi with zero internet required. Technical pairing details are documented on our technical architecture page.
Are there limits on how many products or receipts I can create?
No. There are zero artificial caps on products, customers, receipts, or staff accounts on any plan, including the Free tier. Plan tiers are strictly based on the number of stores, branches, and active counter terminals you deploy.
Is TradePort suitable for multi-branch companies and distribution networks?
Yes. TradePort is designed specifically for multi-branch retail, wholesale depots, and distributor networks. The cloud Owner Portal structures your organization hierarchically across Owner, Store, Branch, and Terminal levels.
Each branch operates its own local counter database independently offline, while the central cloud portal consolidates company-wide inventory balances, branch sales, cash reconciliations, and financial statements.
How do we migrate our existing stock, product catalog, and debtor balances into TradePort?
TradePort includes a comprehensive spreadsheet onboarding engine. You can import your product list from a spreadsheet file (CSV), including bulk packaging units (cartons, packs, dozens), opening stock levels, supplier details, and debtor balances in one batch.
Our engineering team also provides direct migration assistance for companies transitioning from legacy desktop software or spreadsheet records.
Can our company pay for TradePort by bank transfer against a formal commercial invoice?
Yes. In addition to online card payments via Paystack, Enterprise and annual Business plan subscribers can pay directly via bank transfer against a formal Chikwo Intellit commercial invoice.
Invoices include our verified corporate bank account details, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and an itemized service breakdown suitable for corporate audit and accounting compliance.
What happens to our business records and data if a subscription lapses?
Your data remains entirely yours. Because TradePort stores records locally on your counter computers in Encrypted database on your computer SQLite databases, you will never be locked out of your historical records or local offline trading.
Subscriptions carry an automatic 2-day renewal grace period. If a renewal fails, your local counter terminals continue trading while you arrange payment renewal.
